| Case Details | Though this is certainly a HC Hamilton in an open face Bates and Bacon "Royal" 20 yr. GF case, the lack of additional screw marks on the case ring indicates the movement is original to this particular case. The serial number of the Bates and Bacon "ROYAL" model SB&B appears "6955395" stamped on the inside of the back cover, while the front of the case ring is stamped with an additional 0 reading "06955395". The last three digits of the case serial number "...395" are crudely etched by hand on the inside of the watch bezel, showing the case to be most likely original. |
