Note: A series 2 bridge model movement, 5 position watch
would be lever set , not pendant set.

On the other hand , if pendant set it would be a
3 position movement
Curator Response: Thanks for the report. The Series 2 was advertised as adjusted to five positions - both pendant-set and lever-set. https://pocketwatchdatabase.com/guide/company/e.-howard-watch-co.-keystone/catalogs/the-howard-watch-catalog-1914/16

Serial Number 1284150 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: The Howard 17J, series 2 bridge models were three
position watches. The lever set models were 5
position models and could be used for RR service.
The data supplied is not accurate. A correction is
needed. As it is unknown if Howard published a
serial number / model listing, where did this data
originate
Curator Response: This is incorrect. The Series 2 Model 1907 (Bridge) is advertised as featuring a "close five-position adjustment" with no distinction between lever-set and pendant-set. This is described in both the 1914 and 1918 Howard catalogs. Additionally, the movements are marked "Five Positions" on the pillar plate. The serial list has been reconstructed using hundreds of observations.
