Serial Number 14361012 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: Has a Brass train, not gold as stated. If you take
a look at the images of watches that have been
uploaded you will clearly see a mix of brass
trains and gold train wheels. My own observations
appear to show that most of the serial numbers up
to 10,3xx,xxx carry the gold plated train wheels
with the majority I have seen being single roller
escapement.

Sometime after this serial block they changed to
brass train wheels in the majority of these with
most of these having a double roller escapement.
There are the occasional exceptions to the rule,
where you will see the gold plated train wheels on
a later run but these appear to be in very
limited number. More observations are need to pin
point the exact change, so at present the gold
train data is erroneous.
Curator Response: Thanks for the report and summary of your research. I agree with your assessment and have removed the "gold train" designation as a master characteristic of this grade. Please follow up if you discover any additional information with your research.
