Serial Number 418075 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: Sorry but still unable to find upload link on
your site. It is listed on eBay just now item
number 302982491075. Please feel free to copy
pictures if you wish.
Curator Response: Thanks for the followup. I was able to verify your watch is a Keywind/Keyset Model 1 featuring the "wavy" plate profile, made specifically for the English market. [eBay #302982491075]

Serial Number 418075 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: My model is key wind and set from the rear. I can
send you a picture but unable to find a link on
your page to do so.
Curator Response: Thanks for the followup! A Key-Wind/Key-Set 17-Size movement would be considered a Model 1 despite the profile of the top plate. Photos of the watch would be a great benefit for other researchers on the site, and I would be happy to take a closer look. Serial Number 418075 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: Shugart's book list the one I have as a model 2
according to their drawing. This serial number in
your list is entirely different and listed as a
model 1.
Curator Response: Thanks for the report. Elgin material catalogs list the Grade 15 as a Model 1, which is illustrated within the lookup information. Though, the plate design may be slightly different. The two models are extremely similar, and the distinction provided in original source material is the Model 2 is lever-set while the Model 1 is key-set. Please let us know if your example is lever-set. Also, if possible, upload images of your watch for further evaluation. It would be excellent to have a Grade 15 example displayed on the database.
