Curator Response: Thanks for the report. The damaskeening pattern on the train bridge (marked "974") is inconsistent with the barrel bridge (containing the serial number). Additionally, the finish on the winding wheels is consistent with other 974 movements. For these reasons, it appears the barrel bridge has been replaced at some point with a bridge from a Grade 956. Thus, the serial number will only return information related to the donor movement, not the original 974. [eBay #223017418117]
