Note: Hunter or Open:
Usually refers to whether or not it has a closing
cover over the face of the dial. "Hunter" means
that there is a closing cover or "door" over the
face or dial, that opens by pushing a button or
flipping a small lever. It also acts as a
protection over the crystal & face or dial.

"OPEN" means just that.....the face or dial of
the pocket watch is open & you can see it when you
remove it from your pocket, purse, satchel
etc....without having to do anything else. The
face or dial, is exposed except for the crystal
covering it.
