Research Note: Rockford Serial Lists designate this run as Grade 61 with 17 Jewels. However, #439889 has been verified as marked "21 Jewels," and #439884 has been reported as marked "21 Jewels." This suggests all or some of the run was fitted with 21 Jewels instead of 17. Additionally, the verified movement has a two-tone finish instead of standard nickel.

By studying #439889, it is evident the company upgraded the barrel bridge that was originally marked "17 J" to read "21 Jewels." The jewel count does appear to be true to the movement due to the (likely) cap-jeweled pallet fork.
